Other companies quoted a higher number and some wouldn't even touch the attic since it was an old house with a small space, but Manuel took care of it no problem

Very professional. Provided free estimate over the phone and came out to complete the job two days later. Quick but thorough. Took great care of our house and cleaned very well afterward. Love that they provide before and after pictures. Now we are SO much more comfortable in our home. Previously with the summer heat, our brand new AC unit couldnt keep the house cooler than 78 degrees. We had to turn the temp to 78 when leaving, otherwise it would get up to 84 in the house. Now, its able to maintain a perfect 72 in the house. Were saving a little on electricity, but SO much more on our sanity.

Insulation works did a great job and cleaned everything up leaving the space better than when they started working. Will use them again in future homes. They were on time bot times they came to our house.

Insulation works did an incredible job! They were able to give us a quote via phone, sorted our CPS rebate and rolled that into the cost. They also went above and beyond in the job they did, clearing out rubbish other contractors had left, adjusted old batt insulation, used corner and floor protectors to insure they left our attic and our home in the best condition possible. Manuel and Mari are a lovely couple and a great team, I would trust them with all of my insulation jobs in the future.

This company is by far the best contractor we've ever worked with. They were efficient, wonderful to work with, and did an excellent job. Even the CPS representative was impressed with the job when he evaluated it for their rebate program.

Just hired Insulation Works to blow attic insulation, insulate an interior wall, and install a radiant barrier hood over the attic door. Their team of three was professional and courteous. They even hauled unneeded items out of the attic. We feel good about their work--looking forward to more comfortable rooms and lower energy bills!

We called Tom and he was able to come out within a few days to do an estimate. Then he was able to schedule us in under 2 weeks. Tom came out and had a professional folder with all the information we needed to make our decision. He gave us the facts about the products he uses and he helped us with all the paperwork with our CPS rebate once the insulation was installed. He explained what level of product would benefit us the most and how putting additional product wouldn't give us added benefits. He installed what we needed. He put in a attic tent for our attic door which has always been a source of extreme heat in the room it's located in. When we walk in our bedroom now it's actually cool when the air is running. It's great! The whole experience was a positive one. We have already recommended Tom and his company to a good friend.

I am so glad that we found Insulation Works here on Home Advisor! I put in a request for a bid and Manuel called me in less than an hour. He came out on a Saturday afternoon after his last job, just so that we could get a quote ASAP.

As it turns out, once Manuel and Mari began the evacuation (which no one else offered) of old material, skat, etc., they noticed a huge issue in our duct work. They could have just sprayed over, collected their money, and taken off. However, they recognized the health hazard and ethical issue and rescheduled to come back with proper equipment. Their honesty was refreshing to say the least!

Because it was a larger than expected job, we waited until they could have extra help in order to get the job done correctly and efficiently. We trusted Manuel to repair the duct work, because of his history as a home inspector, contractor, and because of his character. Also, he gave us a good price compared to an AC contractor.

Insulation Works completed the job when other companies said No! Our Kerrville home has limited attic access. Not only did Manny and crew properly prepare the attic space, but they were able to blow ~ 20' of insulation throughout the entire attic. They took great care of our home and cleaned up when they were finished. I cannot say that for many other contractors in Kerrville! They even lifted tree limbs covering our driveway so when they backed their box truck down our drive it would not hurt the tree. I highly recommend Insulation Works for their professionalism!

After searching for the best attic insulation option for our hot difficult/low pitch attic, we found Manny and Mari! What great advice and outstanding work they did. They offer many choices, and wont try to sell you on a product their experience knows wont help. We had several other companies that gave estimates and promises, but Manny is a straight shooter and wont lead you wrong.
We ended up with several extra inches of blown in insulation and are very happy with the decision. He found ways to get to areas of the attic other companies wouldnt look at.

It was a pleasant experience working with Manuel and Mari. Manuel is knowledgeable, courteous and meticulous. The attic was brought to the right grade with high quality blown-in insulation. Knee walls and attic closet doors were also lined with batt. Manuel replaced the weather stripping of exterior doors to improve insulation in our house. They covered the floors and stairs with cloth liners for protection and area was left clean when work was finished. They took care of the CPS rebate and discounted it from my out-of-pocket total. They also gave me the option to pay for the job in installments. Overall, I am satisfied with the work done and would recommend them for your insulation project.

I did quite a bit of research regarding insulation prior to hiring them and I read a lot about airflow and whether or not we should install insulation baffles. Manny noted the benefits, but said it may not be totally necessary in this case. However, he also noticed my concern and understood that it would give me peace of mind if they did, so they both came out a day early and took care of it.

Despite keeping our house at 78 degrees, our CPS Bill has been hundreds of dollars more than we expected when we bought our home and moved in this summer. Our neighbors recommended we call Insulation Works.

Manuel took the time to explain everything over the phone, and when we were done talking not only was I confident he was the right guy for the job, but I was EXCITED to get them out to my house and working.

They were able to come out THE NEXT DAY! They took care to protect our carpet, walls, and stairs. The sprayed insulation on the attic then resealed the exterior doors. The threshold of my front door had water rot, so Manuel removed the rot and replaced it with a new one!
